I have to think that Lemon thinks of himself so highly that he was suffering just doing a podcast after getting the boot from CNN. He needed attention.. and I think he's relishing this attention in a Jussie Smollet style. I think getting arrested fuels his future political ambitions, and thus I don't think he very much minded it, and perhaps was hoping it could possibly happen. He wants to be martyr.. and people who are as conceded as Don Lemon are can easily get a martyr-complex.
