I find the most surprising aspect of the war to be Iran firing on pretty much all of it's Arab neighbors and those neighbors aren't getting mad at the US over it, they're getting mad at Iran. Then the US fake news media reports the war has spread to fourteen other countries in the region, which is quite the misrepresentation of the facts. Pretty much no one is coming to Iran's aid, other than Hezbollah.
And their stupid ultimatum to the US as well that they will agree to a ceasefire as long as the regime stays in power and has guarantees that neither the US or Israel will bomb them again so that they can build back better and then attack us, probably with nukes.
Reminds of a scene in my very first R rated movie I watched when I was a kid, "Freebie and the Bean". Pretty funny movie. Alan Arkin and James Caan playing police officers who wrecked several police vehicles during the movie. One scene has them sitting in a chair and their superior is about to tell them extremely important information about the case they were on and the superior suggests for them to sit down, even though they were already sitting down. So, they look at each other and then move around in their chairs to make it look like they just sat down.
