Mahbub Chowdhury, 46, from Swindon, was found to have a filthy bottle in the kitchen of Yeahya Flavour of Asia. When questioned, he said he filled the empty milk bottle with water from the kitchen taps before using it to clean his backside after going to the toilet. ‘He did not use toilet paper for cultural reasons. Inspectors concluded the brown finger prints was faecal matter.’

UK Daily Mail (h/t Liz) Chowdhury prepared meat and fish curries at the takeaway, which was run out of a rented kitchen at the Nine Elms pub. The chef, who no longer works at the takeaway, pleaded guilty to ten counts of breaching food hygiene regulations at Swindon Magistrates Court.
He was fined more than £5,000 last year for ten similar offences relating to food hygiene. (And he was still allowed to work there?)

Rosie Heath, prosecuting, said environmental health officers who visited the business in May last year found ‘very poor standards of hygiene’. His link -- the one he posted here--- goes to "Bare Naked Islam", which is a known and notorious bullshit fabrication site. But the source link IN that article goes to this Daily Mail story. And neither that story, nor any other one reporting the same incident, makes any mention of "Islam" or any other religion. And his own link already quotes the man as saying it's for "cultural reasons" -- nothing to do with religions.


"Indian" comes from the restaurant's own link, which I posted earlier, although it's already evident if one knows anything about Indian names. And from their logo posted above.
Matter of fact the headline in that source link describes the place in its first words -- "Curry house chef". And that link has been there the entire time. The man was an Indian curry chef in an Indian restaurant. Nothing to do with "Islam". This is how flamingly gullible Pink Furry is -- he fell for a fabricated headline, hook line and sinker. And this is far from the first time, yet he never learns.

His second photo he never says what it is or where it comes from but it's a crude example of what's called and "elephant's feet toilet" occasionally found in Turkey -- again far from India and nothing to do with "Muslims", but an affair where one squats rather than sits, which allows a more healthy way to evacuate.

But it's got nothing to do with this story either; nowhere does the story go into detail about what kind of toilet the restaurant uses, nor are they common in England if they exist at all.

NOBODY ANYWHERE says "Muslim" or "Islam" --- because Bare Naked Fakery made it up -- out of nothing. Which for them is a regular practice in pursuit of bigotry. And the only reason the word "Islam" is in there more than once is because after they pulled the headline out of their collective ass (pun intended), they inserted a non sequitur quote from Wiki that also has nothing to do with the story, so that it looks like it's related. In other words the presentation is completely and nakedly dishonest, which is what I noted about that site in the first place, and which is exactly why I go immediately to the source to see what the real story is, as the OP should have done.

On the other hand the story (and the others Googled) ALL contradict that, quoting the man as saying he does it "for cultural reasons". Not religious reasons -- cultural reasons. Hinduism is the most common, but cultural is not religious anyway. Cultural practices are derived from ancient local roots, generally much more ancient than any religion. I doubt this guy is more than an aberrational throwback, but I also doubt this particular restaurant, and to a lesser extent Indian restaurants in general especially in England, are not going to be viewed with a bit more suspicion than usual. I expect we'll see at least a few Indian restaurants with good sanitation marks displaying them more prominently.

Ironically I had curry for dinner. But it was homemade.
