OTOH, it is foolish to refuse to recognize that 90% of the bloody conflicts in the world over the past 50 years have been enmeshed in various fights between, among, and with Muslims and other groups. 90% of the terrorism affecting Europe and North America has been Islam-based.

And while we cannot punish or stigmatize everyone who professes Islam, neither can we ignore the fact that Islam has been, and remains, a cancer on the civilized world. How do we cut out the cancer while allowing the healthy tissue (civilized Muslims) to remain unharmed?

Bull. Islam has been spreading like a cancer for 1400 years. They have persecuted, enslaved, raped, and murdered Christians, Jews, pagans, Hindu, and Buddhists for over a thousand years. The level of hatred coming from Islam has never been seen by an other religion, although it can be argued that atheism has produced some real winner mass murderers.

The "radical Islamists" do NOT come from uneducated and low income backgrounds. Most of these terrorists have been university educated, some have been doctors, and many come from wealthy families(ever hear of the Bin Laden family?).
