Islamic State terrorists are using Afghanistan as a base for “aspirational plotting” against American and European targets in the wake of President Biden’s disastrous military withdrawal, according to a secret Pentagon assessment allegedly leaked by Massachusetts Air National Guardsman Jack Teixeira.

The US intelligence findings, part of a trove posted to the Discord messaging platform, discussed specific ISIS plans to hit major events like the 2022 FIFA World Cup soccer tournament in Qatar, as well as smaller-scale attacks on churches, embassies, and other targets, the Washington Post reported.

ISIS leaders in Afghanistan were at work coordinating nine terror plots in December 2022, the assessment relates.

By February, the tally had increased to 15.

“ISIS has been developing a cost-effective model for external operations that relies on resources from outside Afghanistan, operatives in target countries, and extensive facilitation networks,” the top-secret-labeled report reads.

“The model will likely enable ISIS to overcome obstacles — such as competent security services — and reduce some plot timelines, minimizing disruption opportunities,” the analysis added.

The documents described discussions with a British sympathizer willing to help ISIS construct a chemical weapon.

Other efforts reportedly included contact with a “Ukraine-based individual” with expertise in large-payload drones and outreach to engineering students in Damascus.

The leaked assessment buttressed recent testimony from Gen. Michael Kurilla, head of US Central Command.

In March, Kurilla told the Senate Armed Services Committee that ISIS-K, the Afghanistan branch of the Islamic State terror group – which killed 13 US service members and hundreds of Afghans during Biden’s chaotic 2021 pullout — has been growing in strength under the Taliban’s rule.

“It is my commander’s estimate that [ISIS-K] can do an external operation against US or Western interests abroad in under six months with little to no warning,” Kurilla said.

Jack Teixeira
This is the latest information to come from the information allegedly leaked by Teixeira.via REUTERS
Teixeira, a low-level 21-year-old IT technician, is accused of leaking classified documents on a small Discord group called Thug Shaker Central, whose members later distributed the documents to other groups and websites.

The Discord leaks — perhaps the largest national security breach in a decade — led Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin to order a 45-day review of Pentagon document security practices, which could result in stricter rules regarding security clearances.

is this enough to dismiss the charges against Teixeira? i think so.

Oregon lost her bid because we use Federally regulared banks here ... son-of-a-bitch ... there's a lot of communities in the eastern part of the State that were counting on that income, but the banks won't take Saudi currency, at least not without a lot of questions ...

So what? All the isolationist tards channeling Jane Fonda's work out leggings assure us all that if we only stay home and don't interfere with others they will leave us alone and stuff, and the world will love each other and devote themselves to multicultural singing, dancing, and making native handicrafts all day. But only if we kill all the old white people first.

Twenty years to supposedly remove the Taliban who allowed their country to be a safe haven for terrorists, only to hand the country right back to them so they can have a safe haven for terrorists.

Our leaders are fucking morons.

Shocking considering how they held parades and kissed the American troops before sending them off with a 21 gun salute during Biden's surrender of our withdrawal from Afghanistan.

simple. they were happy to get "their" country back (i don't consider the Taliban to be legitimate leaders), and now extremism has crept right back in.

Just more evidence all that 'nation building' rubbish was a waste of American lives and is never going to work with Islamic 'cultures'. Letting the vermin hide out in Pakistan was extremely stupid.
Don't lose sight of there being several trillion of natural resources under the ground and you have no idea what long term agreements were arranged secretly .
And never forget ISIS was created and run by the CIA and you should examine possible signals with that in mind .

Yes, trump really screwed Us over on that one and the Afghan people. Then he arranged the timing of it to fall on Biden's watch. How convenient and how devious.

Oh so nothing has changed. You are free to go die for nothing in Afghanistan any time you like, btw.
Although we never should have gone in there, just like Iraq, trump really screwed up the negotiations that got US out of there.

well, i don't mean to sound like a Deep State agent here, but i do agree with the Deep State when it comes to the wars in Iraq, Afghanistan and Libya.
they were necessary wars, forced upon us by Saddam, the Taliban and Kadaffi.
feel free to ask me about the particulars, i'll be happy to explain them.

we taught the Islamists several valuable lessons.
and why do you want me to go die in some far-off place eh??
Yes, we taught the terrorists of the world many things since Bush invaded Iraq. How to stay off the radar, how to organize and unite, how to recruit with propaganda campaigns, how to raise money for their cause, how to use technology, how to expand their targets and most importantly how to keep their plans secret and make their campaigns of terror more effective than ever.

Which would have been fought better with subversive activities and strikes. Less loss of life, less cost and more effective. We took a kitten and created a lion.
