Chris Collinsworth was my worst - until Romo. Now, Chris almost sounds good by comparison. Romo really sucks!

Madden was my all time favorite, as a coach and as a commentator.

Cosell was one of the worst prepared commentators I ever saw. He added no insight to his observations

I just get tired of all the jibber jabber. I just want them to announce the game. I don't need or want all the analysis and statistics. That's why I really miss announcers like John Madden.

Imo it's what a sports announcer says, not how they say it.

Romo is really good. He used to call out the play prior to the snap and was so accurate I think he was told to dial that back some.
