And no. If you ever do come up with a real example of an innocent person that was deported, I won’t care about them nearly as much as the thousands of Americans as well as immigrants who have been victimized by these gang members.

But isn't that the OPPOSITE of how our Constitution and laws derived from it, has set it up....where it is better that some guilty go unpunished than government abuse of power of an innocent person?

They committed a misdemeanor if it was their first time illegally crossing the border. Illegal crossing was just a Civil Offense until immigration reform by congress in the latter half of the GW Bush administration.... it was strengthened by making it a misdemeanor.

If it is a first time crossing in, with no previous record of illegal crossing, it is a misdemeanor. But after their court hearing, and a judge has ordered their deportation, and they are deported, if they try to enter again, it is a felony.

Yes, that works most of the time. But Habeus Corpus has been suspended in emergencies, as allowed by the Condtitution.

When are they going to expand the gang investigations and arrest to American gangster's, otherwise for those who are just as bad as the foreign gang bangers within this country ?

I say we should place a ban on all violent gang affiliation and their murderous violence against the innocent in this country period.

No matter where they are or who they represent, it is that violent gang bangers/ members should be apprehended and arrested. After a conviction for their violent activities, they should be sent to a CECOT type prison that we should have already built in this country. Whether it be down in Texas or wherever suits the situational need for it, we should be building it quickly.

No sense in the senseless murders and killings that have taken place in cities like Chicago and other major cities in this country.

We are not Mexico yet, but we could be going in that direction fast if we don't get a grip on what's right and wrong in this country anymore.

Can do both if it's commanded by the President to go for it. Yes I agree with not biting off more than can be chewed, but the investigations into all gang's be it foreign and domestic should go forward with the same tenacity be it one or the other.

American lives are at stake, and no gang should be exempt.
