It's not the same anymore..

Couldn’t believe it. Watched Daytona that day with friends and a cookout. Stopped at bar on way home...then the news flash came. Ordered a double shot right then and there. Shocked.

Wow, I was watching it also at a bar, left early I didn't want to know..


And my radio blew up on the news.. and I pulled over and cried

Those were the days. My daughter and ex wife were HUGE Jeff Gordon fans. Dad and myself were (are) HUGE Intimidator fans. Whole family got involved every week. I will give credit to Gordon...he tore that shit up in 1997

While I was never a big Jeff Gordon Fan, him and Dale brought NASCAR to their peak in 2000... The France Family new how to promote and Promote they did... They showed respect to the old timers and teased the up and coming winners... I was always a Tony Stewart fan... He reminded me so much of A.J. Foyt on and off the track...
