It is entirely normal for politicians in political venues to figuratively stroke their intended constituencies. Republicans speak at the Rotary Club and extol Capitalism, and so on. Democrats speak adoringly at gatherings of minorities. It is nauseating, but fine.

But what about Presidents acting in their official capacity as President of EVERYONE, conspicuously snubbing the LEADER in Electric Vehicles - the American company with the greatest Market Cap in the industry - because they are (thus far) non-union? And then going on about how the Big Three (that expression seems so yesterday) are going to create all these wonderful UNION jobs. If Tesla took him seriously - and I can't imagine why they would - they would have been insulted at both not being included and the backhanded remarks of POTUS.

Yet again, one must wonder, How low can this person go? Has he completely given up on being the President of HALF THE COUNTRY? Indeed, the percentage of private sector workers who are union members in in the single digits.

One must add scumbag to doofus when describing this political hack.
