Here Senator Van Hollen (D-MD) asked U.N. Ambassador nominee Elise Stefanik if she believes that self-determination is a right for Palestinians.

I'm sure that has been discussed, but I haven't seen it. Now it is brought up in the Senate.

Democrats/Leftists, is that something you discuss among yourselves and not only support, but believe it is the only outcome you can live with?

Until they give up on their goal of "Get rid of all the Jews" they won't get to determine jack shit.

A stupid question from a ridiculous man. Sefl determination sounds like it should be a good thing, but what does it mean specifically for the Palestinians? What would they self determine? Judging from their actions over the last century the answer is obvious, the destruction of Israel. So the question Van Hollen is really asking her is, do you support the destruction of Israel by the Palestinians.

The problem with the "right of a peoples to self-determination" is that each of those terms is only squishily defined in international law. This before we even touch on the overlapping rights of "peoples" with "minorities" and with "indigenous".

Wrong.
It was the Palestinians who invited the Jews to Palestine in 1920.
The native Palestinian Arabs are NOT at all the problem.
The proof of that is who blew up the British peacekeepers in the King David Hotel?
It was Menachim Begin.
Why did he do that?
It was so no one could stop him from wiping out hundreds of native villages like Deir Yassin.
So the problem is entirely and only the Zionists.
Started all the violence and still are the only cause of any violence.

Wrong.
The Palestinian natives did nothing remotely violent.
They did not accept the 1948 UN partition because it did not allow for the Right of Return of those who had fled their homes to avoid the violence.

The violence was entirely by the Zionists.
Like why did they blow up the British peacekeepers in the King David Hotel in 1946?
Why did Menachim Begin gun down the UN moderator, Folke Bernadotte?
It is the Zionists who started massacring hundreds of native villages like Deir Yassin.

There is absolutely no doubt at all that the evil criminals are the Zionists, and the Palestinians are totally innocent.

In 1920 the locals has no power to do anything, The brits were in charge, and before that the Ottomans.

There is nothing remotely vague about this.
The native Arab Palestinians are the only ones with a history there, are the only ones with deeds to all the properties, etc.
The Zionists are almost all illegal European immigrants who do not really belong there at all in the first place, and since they created ALL the violence, it is they who we should consider removing.

Wrong.
The whole point of the British Mandate for Palestine was that the British were only there to help and defend the Palestinian natives.
It was an obligation to pay back for the Palestinians helping Lawrence of Arabia defeat the Ottoman Empire.

The Treaty of San Remo and the Treaty of Sevres created Palestine for the natives, and there is no legal origin for Israel at all.
It is a fake country created out of thin air by the UN, because the UN did not want to get involved.

LOL, it was a British land grab, nothing more or less.

You clearly know nothing about international law. Start by de-conflating individual property rights with sovereignty.
