Adam Shiff thinks so. Or at least he did. Back in 2018, he wrote that pardoning people for crimes in which the president himself is implicated is an obstruction of justice.
It is obvious to anyone with a thinking brain that Joe gained by allowing, or even enabling, his family to get rich by peddling his influence. It is more likely than not that he himself is “The Big Guy” who raked in 10% of the take. But now, because Joe made a blanket pardon covering yet-undiscovered crimes, he has protected himself.
But…..the pardon does not cover FUTURE crimes. There is nothing preventing the DOJ from calling Hunter to testify as to crimes committed by his father, uncle, or other family members regarding the corruption scheme they were running. He cannot be held liable for what he did, but he CAN be charged with perjury if he lies.
