Inflated budgets, late budgets, over spending, maybe it's time for some amendments? Lest this puckers some nether regions.....See the link....

"The most common objection to an Article V convention is called the “runaway convention” objection.

It envisions a doomsday scenario in which delegates disregard the original issue, rewrite the Constitution, and change the entire American system of government. While this initial response is understandable, it is based on fear and misinformation."

Won't happen.

Neither side can muster a majority: too many independents will be elected to a convention.

This "objection" is just another bogus attempt to thwart the Constitution, which clearly lays out a process for adopting amendments. If 3/4 of the States call for a Constitutional Convention, there is no requirement that an "original issue" be specified. If that was the case, we wouldn't have the Constitution in the first place.

If you can't come up with 2 honest men or women to lead the executive, or 100 people that are not corrupt to lead the Senate, why would you even suppose these hand-picked delegates would be any different to hand this power over to? We can't vote ourselves out of the mess we have made.
