You might be right.......I watch videos by a guy on youtube who goes by TheYankeeMarshal....he points out that the Capitol Police who guard the House and Senate are not just cops....they are a private force specifically for the security of politicians......their own private guard that we pay for.....if those had just been normal people on that baseball field.....they would have been slaughtered....so it is easy for polticians to disarm normal people, because they have their own guards carrying guns for them....
