They aren't destroyed but they may go broke fairly quickly while their military manufacturing remains stagnant (just as UKs military is stagnant). China will reap the benefit of a weakened Europe that will push climate change agendas as China floods them with cheap, subsidized cars and other products.
Chinas ability to influence and get left leaning politicians in particular drunk on the prospect of power at their own nations demise is perhaps unparalleled in history.
People will be retiring at age 60. They are increasing and expanding government which means major increases to their debt. This is the centralized system China demands in order to influence politicians and have many fight for THEIR interests, not Frances. This is the same course they have taken elsewhere. In the U.S they focused on NY and California. This wasn't by happenchance.
Ironically, in the long run Russia benefits as well as the military engagement prospects of Europe decrease. Rarely do newer immigrants pursue careers in foreign nations militaries unless they really believe in their new found homes values and system. Far-left politicians also tend to be far less patriotic or willing to go to war since they don't agree with statehood. They will be critical of America, Israel, Japan and even their own nation before they stand up for their flag. This is a generalization obviously but a generalization that is well founded in my experiences.
These political shifts occur with ebb and flows but right now Europe is as weak as they have been in the last 60 years while their enemies around them take precisely the opposite policy approaches.
Go and look at the CCP administration when they have their votes for leadership and issues. Try and find a female in a position of power there. They are driven to dominate domestically and slowly but surely Internationally and they don't face any criticism for their human rights, misogynistic attitudes, assault on religion and peace loving nations, economic cohersion etc. Completely the opposite as these left wing parties but they will admire China. Just as the left admire Palestine and chastise Israel even though Israel has FAR more in common with their ideals of diversity and liberal values (more tradition in Israel, thankfully).
The irony of it all is something to watch. Making a deal with the devil is going to have consequences. Macron sold his country to the far left to prevent what he deems a greater evil. Just as they called the leader from Argentina "far right" it is near impossible to know. Though this lady in France has baggage as apparently her dad was a collaborator with the nazis. Insanity really.
