So you would give Florida and California the same fixed amount for disaster relief as Alaska? Do you ever think?
It's more like the DEA...Should FEMA be eliminated along with the DOE and just provide all emergency resource funding and education funding DIRECTLY to the states? Year after year all we see out of these agencies is failure. Should FEMA and the DOE be preserved, dissolved or reduced?
I say begin with a reduction and fully eliminate both departments by 2026. What say you?
How much does FEMA earn?We need a whole new system. FEMA and insurance companies don't work. They're both worried more about making money than they are about people in need. Alot of things are like that nowadays. Banks, drug companies, multinationals, politicians. We should probably replace most of those things.
That's the problem. They come in and take over. They should assist, not ramrod.FEMA is there to provide emergency relief as it is needed
Let the states handle it..........Example, Florida.FEMA is there for states that are overwhelmed by a disaster
The fed does.........in fact they were low on cash due to spending emergency monies on sick birds. You can’t allocate money in anticipation of a future disaster.
Why not each state prepare for a disaster in their own state?Let all 50 states chip in on disasters impacting one or two states
You must have a very large outhouse to shovel shit like that. That's the problem. They come in and take over. They should assist, not ramrod.

Ask Ron DeSantis how they did it. Each state has their own emergency response branch. You must have a very large outhouse to shovel shit like that.
MAGA is pretty much your Superior. We do things the right way, look at the way California has turned out under your dishonest auspice.MAGA States will be given their allocation of disaster funds
If they go over, too bad for them
FEMA and DOE do more harm than good. Get rid of both.Should FEMA be eliminated along with the DOE and just provide all emergency resource funding and education funding DIRECTLY to the states? Mississippi?MAGA is pretty much your Superior. We do things the right way, look at the way California has turned out under your dishonest auspice.
California?Mississippi?
No. It needs to be broken up and assigned to the States.FEMA needs to be expanded
We have more natural disasters than ever
Dept of edu too.No. It needs to be broken up and assigned to the States.
Doesn’t workNo. It needs to be broken up and assigned to the States.
The bigger question is, can red states go it alone? Doubtful!Should FEMA be eliminated along with the DOE and just provide all emergency resource funding and education funding DIRECTLY to the states? Red states are short sightedThe bigger question is, can red states go it alone? Doubtful!
You have no idea where any natural disaster will happen.Doesn’t work
We have no idea which states will face natural disasters
We need the federal government to step in and help with major natural disasters
Abolishing FEMA and the Dept of Education and providing direct funding to the states makes perfect sense. Democrats prefer failure and corruption. The bigger question is, can red states go it alone? Doubtful!
