Stephen Hawking is not that smart. He needed Roger Penrose to do his math and Penrose won the Nobel Prize. Hawking never won the Nobel Prize. Hawking Radiation is named after him and if the Event Horizon Telescope sees Hawking Radiation then Hawking should win the Nobel Prize but I doubt Hawking Radiation is real.
