It depends how it is applied.

I saw a bad case in which they hired this black woman, passing up two qualified contractors who had already proven their worth to the company, and she turned out to be utterly useless. It hurt the company and team morale.

When you are passing up an Asian who had a perfect SAT score and GPA to give that slot to a "preferred" minority who didn't do quite as good, that's also bad.

Now, yes, I think some affirmative action is needed to make up for white privilege, absolutely. But the way that it is often applied is that they hire one token minority and then they keep giving the jobs to the idiot nephews.

The next agenda of more of them if Kamala is elected will be legislation to build up to a few million low-income homes in suburban areas. We will see how many Progressive voters act with their beliefs. When we see how many Progs moved from the cities even with their Prog beliefs when their neighborhoods started to change, we may see another exodus.

2. The 118 million white women in America, who are daughters or wives of white men being discriminated against by race-based Affirmative Action. These are about 1000 times as many as white women benefitting from AA.

Low income homes and apartment buildings don't only house undesirable deadbeats. Many house senior citizens scraping along on VA pensions and Social Security (that they paid taxes into for 50 years).

How do you know that's the reason? I can't speak about those other seven ladies, but judging by your posts, you couldn't get an academic program at the University of Phoenix.

I'm not even sure your math works out that well. Being someone's wife or daughter doesn't effect you directly.

As for Fisher, there is ample evidence that she just wasn’t qualified to get into the University of Texas. After all, her grades weren’t that great, and the year she applied for the university, admissions there were actually more competitive than Harvard’s. In its court filings, the university has pointed out that even if Fisher received a point for race, she still wouldn’t have met the threshold for admissions. Yes, it is true that in the same year, the University of Texas made exceptions and admitted some students with lower grades and test scores than Fisher. Five of those students were black or Latino. Forty-two were white.
