RIP. Great man and show. But he had the personal touch with al his colleagues on that long running Old School show. Thought he would be older than that.

I met and talked with Irv when he was AD at Idaho State.
One of the nicest men I've ever met
I teased him about getting beat on a corner route by Carroll Dale
He chuckled and reminded me that he did intercept Bart Starr that day
I was surprised how little he was
