The DOJ and FBI have been withholding documents to cover up their malfeasance.
The FBI and DOJ know what they have but they do not know all of what the IG has or has not yet discovered. If the IG releases their documents first, then the DOJ and FBI will know what the IG has uncovered and if the IG does to have it , the DOJ and FBI can continue to hide any undiscovered documents not already in the IG’s possession. If Nunes and Goodlatte force the DOJ and FBI to release their records before the IG, then the DOJ and FBI will be forced to release anything they have because if they don't produce it and the IG has it , it's obstruction of justice time for the people responsible.
The FBI and DOJ will also be at risk of charges of coverup and obstruction if they over redact the released documents to conceal or obstruct (like they have been doing in the past) and the IG releases clean, unreacted versions of those documents.

Let's all of us, including the Left put our thinking caps on for a moment, shall we! But before we do, let us ALL understand that the major players in Washington in this matter, already know what happened.
QUESTION--------->well then Whosure, if they already know the answer, then why demand they answer the question?
ANSWER-----------> Simple really; once they TESTIFY to how they got the FISA warrant, they will either 1. be able to be prosecuted for lying if the AG has the real method, 2. will put in the open how the warrant was acquired, which means that the evidence can then be proven false, or true, 3. and if it is the Dossier, then the whole DNC will be brought down for 2018.
Remember, the whole supposition in the media and on this board by the left, is that the method to get the FISA warrant was above board. Now you notice don't you, that the NUMBER 1 thing the right has been giving to the press, over, and over, and over, again is---------->how phony-baloney that dossier is! HELLOOOOOOOOOO, why would they do that-) Even Comey admitted it was phony, so why beat a dead horse? It has zero relevance, and would be considered a campaign dirty trick under most circumstances, would it not? Lying; for the most part, is NOT illegal, as proven by Harry Reid when he claimed that Romney did not pay his taxes, then after the election, admitted he lied; but was glad he did, because it worked!
So then, why all the attention; in fact mounting attention to the dossier by the right? Just as a thought, I hate what the left stands for, but I do not consider them dumb, or stupid, at least the political leaders of the party. So are the leftists on here so arrogant, that they actually think that the political leaders of the right are soooooo, damn, stupid, that they would concoct such a brew of nonsense, then turn around and demand the left produce the evidence to blow their nonsense out of the water without putting the left in a deeper pickle?
To many people on this board from both left, and right; actually believe that this investigation is criminal. It isn't. It is political! It is a vehicle being used to STOP an agenda, nothing more, nothing less. The left believes they can keep this going until the midterms, the administration does not, or hopes not.
OPINION BY ME----------> I believe that the left had it in the bag, I really do, until about August.
WHY-------------------------> Because as long as this was about putting pressure on Trump, the Republicans didn't really care to much, since many of them like the swamp just the way it is too. They would have been almost as happy as the Democrats to see him go away, and get back to business as usual.
But a funny thing happened on the way to getting rid of Trump without evidence, just using innuendo.................the sitting Republicans became aware that they were in trouble too. It wasn't just Trump who was in the hot seat, so were they.
And so, and about face happened! To save themselves, they had to save Trump! And so, the full force of the Republicans (minus Flake and Corker) went into, "lets get the left" mode. Oh yes, yes it did! The culmination of this is what happened in the last 2 elections, to cement the idea that it was either prove the left concocted this whole thing, or let the left take over the whole ball of wax.
As I stated on many threads, watch what happens between the Holidays. Well, it has been pushed back to January 3rd, the start of the dismantling of this whole fiasco. Unless there is some evidence nobody in the public domain is aware of, the left is in deep trouble. And if it is the dossier; which it probably is-------->it leads right back to Hillary, the FBI, the Obama administration, and the DNC.
You want to know how to drain the swamp? Let this come out, and watch heads in Washington start to roll, and be replaced-)
