Inside Trumps Racist Crusade To Erase American Heroes From US History

President Donald Trump’s administration has made it a top priority to remove anything associated with diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives from federal websites, regardless of the context. But in doing so, it’s erasing history—and making a compelling case for why we shouldn’t be dismantling the Department of Education.

One glaring example of this is Pete Hegseth’s Department of Defense, which, in early March, erroneously removed a historic image of the B-29 bomber, the Enola Gay, from the Pentagon’s website. (The plane dropped the first atomic bomb over Hiroshima, Japan, during World War II.) Why? Because the aircraft’s name contains the word “gay.”

This absurdity is a powerful illustration of how far Trump and his cronies will go in their quest to eliminate anything that might be construed as “inclusive.” But this particular flub reveals the administration’s true intentions: to distort historical facts for the sake of ideological purity.

More recently, on Tuesday, it was reported that the Defense Department removed articles about the Navajo Code Talkers from its website, supposedly following a directive from Trump and Hegseth to eliminate all DEI-related content from Pentagon and military sites.

As we’ve highlighted before, though, under Trump, DEI has been reduced to little more than a smokescreen. The term now serves as a tool for denying opportunities to people of color, women, and minorities—if not erasing them entirely from the history books.

Watching all of this get reversed, and brought back on steroids, will be entertaining. Almost as much as watching maga heads explode when it happens.
Trump-and-Company are merely ending decades of divisive Race-Card Playing.

As to any "reversals", the handful that have surfaced so far are purely temporary in nature and unlikely to survive.

The Pubs are not "erasing" history... they are merely re-leveling the playing field and eliminating any focus upon Race.

Thus eliminating one of the crutches that Race-Card-Playing Democrats need to lean upon in order to drum-up their votes.

Hiring the most competent is not racist.
It’s also not happening

The most compliant sycophants is more like it. Generally white. Generally male.

Loyalty to the Orange Fraud is the deciding factor

Is this like the left destroying murals and statues of America's founders?

You are fully aware of the fact you cannot demonstrate this to be true.
As usual.

Even though trump is a racist , I don't believe this was intentional. Just collateral damage of having a foolish blanket order. There are exceptions to every rule and this is just one of them. They threw out the baby with the wash water. DEI started for good reasons. It wasn't all bad as they suggest. It simply went overboard like they are doing now. Extremism is never good.

DEI is totally unAmerican and runs counter to the Constitution.
It artificially segregates people into racial /gender groups.
Claiming that everyone is equal.
But some people are more equal than others.
Marxism 101
Then you actually need to read the Constitution, comrade.

The very premise of our laws, and the Constitution itself, is equal protection.

Which sometimes I question myself, because in your case most people are superior to you.

The one that I heard the Phoenix media talk about most was the removal from military content concerning the Navajo Code Talkers which was later restored.

Trump is further dividing based on the race card.

And all of it will be reversed.

On day one, by executive order.

Be sure to stock up on butt hurt cream.

I help care for my elderly mother, and she can’t be moved at this stage.

“After”, I plan to move further away from liberals.
Right....move to ShangriLa where White lives where gas and food are always cheap and the economy the last 4 years was super strong....

"baby with the bathwater" is right. They are a paranoid lot.
Do you get much of this "bashing white people" thing, actually, where you are. I am in the Mid-South. It doesn't come up much and I have never personally experienced it.

Really? You've never had something like a history article like from teh example, that is supposedly about a war hero, but when you actually watch it, is is about how evil and racist white America is and how you should feel bad about it?

You've never had something like that happen to you?
