Well, it's official. Took the whole family to the doctor today and every one of us has influenza A. Gotta shake it off quick before Christmas arrives.

Ugh. Thats definitely not something you want for a holiday vacation.

Eat lots of raw onions, garlic, and peppers if you can. Also take a tablespoon of apple cider vinegar before you eat every time, for one week.

My granny preached that, and I've done it on numerous occasions I felt sick or thought I was getting sick and it worked.
I either ended up not getting sick or it kept me from going "full blown" sick.

All but one of us studies/works in schools with hundreds of students so if there is something out there we are likely to get it.

America lost more people from "the flu" in 1918 than we did in WWI.

Now it's an inconvenience. Medicine has come a long way.

Last time I had something, I tried one of those vitamin supplements with mega C, D and Zinc (I think it was Airborne Immune Support). It definitely improved my condition after the first dose.

Seems like it's always during a break. Working with hundreds of kids every day, and having my own kids in school with hundreds more really stacks the odds against us.

Nothing you can do while working in public settings. Especially if you work next to a breeder as I do. That hen is sick four times a year and gives it to me twice. I wanna throw her and her 'trophies' off a fkn bridge.
