If you ever wondered why inflation happens, corporate profits have to play a role in it.

U.S. companies just had their best year since before most of us were born - CBS News

Also, interestingly, I can't find a graph that simply shows both the inflation rate and the corporate profit rate during a given time frame. Though as you all know, the inflation rate both rises and falls. No mater what it does, corporate profits go up. Though I couldn't find a direct graph, I do have some graphs that you should find interesting.

Not all the time and not completely... there is still competition that can't be ignored... and also sales dip when prices get too high leaving corporations with overstock... if what they sell has a self life it all gets tossed...
Stop blaming corporations for everything and ask yourself would you be better off without them...

Always....geez, this is Econ 101. Corporations aren't in business for altruism...:auiqs.jpg::auiqs.jpg:
They make a profit. Their cost go up..they pass those costs along to the consumer...because the consumer will for the large part..pay it. Until that doesn't happen anymore.

The quest for profits does immeasurably good for society... jobs... life saving products... products that make life easier... life lasts longer... and more comfortable....
They can't always pass costs along if you think they can you have never been in business....

Inflation is higher than wage growth, right now, and any Fed reserve cuts now will only drive inflation up.

You know my post was right. You know the fact. If you disagree, disprove it. You can't.

jobless claims hit a 5 month high

inflation is higher than wage growth

Microsoft is going to lay off thousands and thousands.

All of this is verifiable on line.

July may be the crunch month, either way.
