The idea is the real estate that they took. It would be equivalent to the Indians retaking Manhattan and forming it's own country while booting out all those that live there now. Israel is prime real estate.

Not to mention that Israel has been on an expansionist course since its creation (invasion of the Sinai Peninsula in 1956, invasion of the West Bank, Gaza Strip, and Golan Heights in 1967, invasion of Lebanon in 1982 and 2006). And that it is a regional power the existence of which helps maintain American/British hegemony and prop up right-wing regimes throughout the region.

Also, the premise of your map seems to be that such countries as Iran, Afghanistan, Turkey, Pakistan, and the 5 former Soviet republics on the map are all "Arab land" when in fact they are not.
