If he gets a majority in the House in 2020, you'll see the best run government this country ever had. Deficits and the size of government will both shrink. ........Over four hours of debate among what felt like a thousand Democratic candidates, a few notable topics scarcely came up. There was no heated tussle over jobs plans. No argument over how to set the national debt on a better path, and no proposals to balance the budget or change the country’s entitlement structure. There was less discussion of getting work to America’s forgotten communities than in the last election cycle........

ME: Of course they steered clear of the economy. Trump is an economic god. Lowest unemployment in 50 years, booming economy, re-negotiated new trade deals, manufacturing jobs coming back.... ....what the hell could these half-witted socialist idiots say against that!!

I have to agree. The moderators in these debates keep throwing the debaters sugar balls. It was the same with the Republican debates in 2016.

There should only be hard core conservatives moderating Democrat debates, and hard core leftists moderating Republican debates.

As for dollars vs percentages, it is a little early for that since Trump is just getting started.

But for total dollars...

In his 8 years, Obama added an average of $2,838,179,629, per day, every day.

So far, Trump is adding an average of $3,248,428,491, per day, every day.

That is an increase of 14% over Obama.

And this is during a booming economy (we have a dozen threads a day telling us the economy is booming)

Everyone agrees that a downturn will come, sooner or later. Just imagine what the amount added to the debt will look like during a recession if we are adding this much in a boom.
