“The Justice Department is aggressively prioritizing efforts to strip some Americans of their U.S. citizenship.

Department leadership is directing its attorneys to prioritize denaturalization in cases involving naturalized citizens who commit certain crimes — and giving district attorneys wider discretion on when to pursue this tactic, according to a June 11 memo published online. The move is aimed at U.S. citizens who were not born in the country; according to data from 2023, close to 25 million immigrants were naturalized.”

This is as reprehensible as it is wrong.

There is no justification for the denaturalization of US citizens, regardless the crimes they may have committed.

Further proof Trump is a fascist thug.

You should be more upset that Biden and Mayorkas let 12,000,000 illegals into the US with their illegal "open borders".
166,000 Chinese, 125,000 Russians, and hundreds of terrorists including ISIS.
I have no problem pulling citizenship from criminals.

Your backwards posts get more incorrect all the time facediaper.

Your open border "policy" was the worst on earth. Some people want America to become shyteholes similar to that of which cities in Europe have become. China has been funding this in the shadows I'm sure and we know that Russia allows illegals to move through to Western Europe, all by design. Destroy a nation from within, make it rutterless, directionless and it will defeat itself without a bullet being fired.

If you water down the value and requirements of your citizenship we will all lose the Judeo-Christian values that made the West great.

kyzr believes this: You should be more upset that Biden and Mayorkas let 12,000,000 illegals into the US with their illegal "open borders". 166,000 Chinese, 125,000 Russians, and hundreds of terrorists including ISIS. I have no problem pulling citizenship from criminals.

Made up figures from conspiracy theories.

Many MAGAts should lose citizenship.

From the posted piece:

Denaturalization is a tactic that was heavily used during the McCarthy era of the late 1940s and the early 1950s and one that was expanded during the Obama administration and grew further during President Trump's first term.

Again from the OP

DOJ is expanding its criteria of which crimes put individuals at risk of losing their citizenship. That includes national security violations and committing acts of fraud against individuals or against the government, like Paycheck Protection Program loan fraud or Medicaid or Medicare fraud.

Whoa. That does sound good. Yeah, **** those criminal assholes and deport them.

The third world flood was a mistake. We should deport as many as give us an excuse.

From 1990 thru 2017, on average 11 people a year were denaturalized a year....it was very very very rare, until Trump's first term, which he alone, drastically changed that within just a couple of months of his term.

Obama averaged 16 people a year being denaturalized....a 5 person increase above the average of 11 during the previous presidencies before his time.

Trumps first term he denaturalized, revoked citizenship to several hundred people in just a couple of months in office and it continued throughout his first term.
