“Immigrant families are spending the holidays having difficult conversations in anticipation of President-elect Donald Trump’s plan to carry out what he has called “the largest deportation program in American history” once he's sworn in next month.

“A lot of us are honestly celebrating Christmas together thinking, ‘Oh my God, is this the last time we get to spend Christmas with our family members?’” said Felipe Sousa-Lazaballet, who leads the Hope CommUnity Center, a nonprofit organization outside of Orlando, Florida, that advocates for immigrants and other underserved communities. "This is really heart-wrenching."

To deliver on Trump's promise to deport more than 11 million undocumented immigrants, the incoming administration intends to roll back policies that restrict immigration enforcement actions in sensitive places like schools, churches and hospitals, as well as their respective surrounding areas, NBC News reported.’

That an immigrant might be undocumented doesn’t mean he’s ‘illegal.’

Immigrants have the right to due process regardless their immigration status – and the right to a fair hearing before an immigration judge.

The right’s anti-immigrant agenda is motivated by racism, bigotry, and hate – not the law.

MIssing is the term "illegal" immigrants. Yeah, these people broke the law when they came over illegally. These are not sympathetic figures. They put their families in this situation. Democrats allowing our laws to be broken by waving these people in are just as culpable. Had the Democrats not done this, Trump wouldn't have to be sending people back. Time for you people to look in the mirror.

You need to get your story straight

Immigrants are in the US legally and have nothing to fear from trump

Its aliens who are here illegally that should be worried

The term undocumented means -

Undocumented immigrants” describes individuals who were born in a foreign country and who live in the United States with no legal right to.

I'm a Brit and even I know Trump wants those with no legal right to be in the USA shipped out, despite the Lefty petty play on words.

If you went through the correct port, the correct procedures, and have the necessary paperwork, then that person is not worried.

If you fly off on holiday to say the UK, do you go through your border security, take a passport, go through UK border security, and have a visa? That is the correct procedure. So why do you expect others not to??

Damn, the DNC got their talking points out early this morning! :laughing0301:

Hey OP, don't look now but a re-emphasis is going to be put on the transport hubs the illegals use like bus and train stations.

Biden put a halt to the practice but it's gonna be ramped up again.....Plans are already in place to start it up again the day FJB leaves office.

It's very effective and only takes a couple of agents to do. It will be doubly effective once the old ICE hotline is up and running again where citizens can call-in and report the illegal's movements and job site locations.

Enjoy!

NGOs need scrutinized for facilitating an invasion of the US.

Well over 1 million have received final deportation notices from the court. Perhaps Trump needs to hire 50 judges to operate in a government building set up via Zoom video and process case after case across every state to speed up this process.

No, we just want what's best for our people. Illegal aliens are a triple drain on everything we have.

“Immigrant families"
You mean invading illegal criminals.

That an immigrant might be undocumented doesn’t mean he’s ‘illegal.’
Actually, it kinda does, bonehead. If he were here legally, he would be documented, meaning that the government knows who he is and where he is, and he would have an address and a government ID number like social security, etc.

Immigrants have the right to due process
They have a right to be thrown out of the country. They are lucky this isn't a country like N Korea where they would just be shot on sight.

– and the right to a fair hearing before an immigration judge.
Maybe they can get one of those in Mexico.

You're a bonehead. Come here legally and you are OK.

Fine… would you rather we simply cater shooting them rather than returning them to their shithole of origin?

These people are not here legally. They need to be removed , either by permanent deportation or by execution. Pick your poison.

They are all moving to sanctuary states from the news this morning...

Trump's maga supporting rich friends violated the law by allowing undocumented people to work in their facilities while they creamed off a nice profit all the while speaking out against illegal migrants!
