If you value your freedoms....We were very close to losing them.

If the dems had not went so far off the hook we might not even be in this glorious place we are right now with the deep state on the run and our dem antagonists in complete disarray.

Absolutely right. Assuming, of course, you are a healthy, straight, White, Christian man who doesn't need ANY government services and lives in a rural area. Others, not so much.

Perhaps. But here in Canada, our healthcare system is slowly imploding. I remember going to the emergency twice with my dad. The first time we waited 7 hours, the second time 9. If it was any kind of real emergency, my dad would have died.

Ok, I know this is gonna make me sound really bad, but I don't understand why people who need government assistance just to live, insist on creating more children. The way I see it is very simple. If you can't afford your children, and in fact you can't even take care of yourself, then you shouldn't breed. Let your problem end with you. Yea, I guess it sucks to see "healthy straight white Christian men" pass on their bloodlines, but sometimes that's just how it is. Healthy people who thrive tend to live on, those who are unfit get left behind. Get over it.

No, you don't sound bad, just ignorant. When a hurricane hits the South does the government provide assistance? When farmers have bad years, does the government provide assistance? When the child of a family that lost their health insurance does the government provide assistance? When there are too few people in an area so providing them with electricity is not cost effective does the government provide assistance? When someone is laid off from their job does the government provide assistance?

That's not what I meant. I should have been more clear. If the assistance is temporary, or if the hardship was caused by bad luck (such as being hit by a hurricane, having a bad year..etc), then accepting government help is fine. But I am talking people who are chronically on the dole. People who absolutely cannot stand on their own two feet, the welfare queens...etc, these people should not breed.

That's not what I meant. I should have been more clear. If the assistance is temporary, or if the hardship was caused by bad luck (such as being hit by a hurricane, having a bad year..etc), then accepting government help is fine. But I am talking people who are chronically on the dole. People who absolutely cannot stand on their own two feet, the welfare queens...etc, these people should not breed.

I don't disagree but their number is tiny and I'm not sure I want to live in a society that somehow forces them not to breed.

I wasn't "expecting" any time span, but I think a wait time of several hours for a trip to the EMERGENCY is kind of ridiculous. It really should be a lot shorter than that.

In the UK, if you're involved in a serious car crash and rushed to A&E (Accident and emergency), you totally jump the queue. If you badly cut yourself, expect to wait, you will live.

I know what you mean, I believe it's called triage. But I don't think we have that here though. Not too sure.
