If Trump wins, Republicans keep the House and take the Senate, I promise you, after two years the Republican party will cease to be relevant. First, tariffs, that will bring inflation back like a rampaging bull. Farmers, facing retaliatory tariffs on their exports will find themselves seeking new markets. That may lower prices but when compounded by mass deportation of the labor force that dominants the industry, it is doubtful. The cobweb theory pricing model suggests if there is a decline a prices future production will be curtailed leading to even higher prices.
In almost every measure, Americans will feel the pain of a Trump led Republican government. Trump is the only president in modern history to oversee a decline in life expectancy, ironically, especially among his core group of supporters, white men without college degrees. Expect more of the same.
You can't tell a Trumpbot anything. Incomes have risen under Biden, at this point at a faster rate than inflation. The old question, are you better now than you were four years ago, well yeah, if you just manage to be "average". With no overtime restrictions and a war on unions, real income will decline in this Orwellian Republican government.
Workplace deaths grew at an alarming rate under the previous Trump administration, expect more of the same. Childhood poverty, hunger, yep, it is coming folks. In two years, the United States will damn near be a third world country, ostracized by most developed countries, think Europe, Japan, and much of the middle east. Except for Israel, and who needs enemies when you got friends like Israel.
Government control of the press, one of the first moves of a despotic government. And the judicial branch of government will become just another arm of the executive branch, hell, the legislative branch will just be Trump's Boy Friday. The greatest fears of Madison and Hamilton come to fruition.
