There is a real decline in the West due to the extreme outsourcing which has destroyed the middle class and a nations readiness in times of war or emergency.
Trump is in effect the antithesis to the groupthink philosophy that has been designed, purposely or by happenchance, to restrict upward mobility while not actually creating anything tangible. The world would have to hope for benevolence from the overlords if it continued.
A nations economy should include an eclectic range of industries and employment types, not just moving money around while not actually manufacturing anything ourselves. Ultimately, the decision to assist the communist nation with all of our industries and IP was an impetuous decision which must at some juncture be reversed. It appears Trump has taken it on his shoulders to do just that.
