Play scrabble? Go for walks? Think and ponder?

Have meaningful conversations with God?

Earn special privileges, like day release visits down to Earth, to see how everyone’s getting on?

Well, if one were to believe the hymn “Anazing Grace:

"When we've been there ten thousand years, Bright shining as the sun, We've no less days to sing God's praise than when we first begun”

So it would seem that Heavenly residents spend their time kissing God’s ass. If so, thsts just another reason why I’m not interested in going to Heaven.

Different faiths have different views of heaven.

According the LDS faith, those in heaven have an eternity of performing plays and doing arts and crafts.

OTOH, the Roman Catholic Church has the saints in heaven answering prayers of the faithful here on earth and dealing with tasks like helping them connect with the ball when they are up at bat or helping them to find lost car keys.

This is the question.

The best approach is to be a good human being so as to make sure you are invited to whatever this next life will provide. All will be revealed in due time.

Praise God

Meet other Believers

I hope ask a lot of questions and find stuff out!

If you expect to be good enough, you never will be.

God's standard is perfection. Because He is so holy He cannot accept less.

The ONLY way to gain that perfection is to "put on Christ". That's it.

Interesting thing I've thought about a lot.

Eat a lot of angel food cake and not gain any weight?

Spend eternity in bliss -- sounds good to me. I think that getting bored with bliss is only possible in a material body.

Enjoy no longer living in a meat sack full of aches and pains?

The Baltimore Catechism taught children in question form.

Q: Why did God make me?
A: God made me to know Him, to love Him, to serve Him, and to be happy with Him in this world and the next.

I look forward to serving God. Consider the adage of, "If you choose a job/career that you love, you will never work a day in your life." I'm not sure I even ever chose a job/career--I either stumbled or was pushed into them, but I loved them all. Loving and enjoying my work on earth, I very much look forward to how God has chosen me to work at serving Him in the next world.

One thing I know (or at least have been given a good hint): I won't be one of those singing praises. I have a terrible singing voice. I'm not exaggerating. As a new mother, I knew it was my job to sing lullabies to my baby. She worked very hard to say her first words. Not kidding: Those first words were, "Mom, don' sing."
