Don't join NATO, don't join the EU, become an economic slave to Russia forever. The people of Ukraine democratically removed the pro-Russian president because he refused to follow the will of the people and join a free and successful Western Europe rather than be ruled from a failing Russia.

When a will of people of a shitholestan face a vital interest of a nuclear superpower - result is pretty predictable. Russia see NATO expansion as a vital threat and this is exactly why NATO will be rolled back (or eliminated).
