Well, it’s as I said after the election; what happens is that the party that is out of power is usually helped by the arts community to some extent because the tendency is to always attack those who are in power.

What you’ll see is some episode of Grey’s Anatomy or whatever where the child has already reached his maximum for the year and they won’t be able to perform a needed operation until next year or a song about how someone was unable to afford insurance for their child…. It’s a target rich environment since its such as well publicized looting of people’s health insurance (if it passes).

I'm not sure where you have been or where you get your news. BOcare is not going to die. This country has permanently crossed the line towards complete socialized healthcare. It will get tweaked and the name will get changed depending on which party is in control, but make no mistake, the good ole USA is on the path to permanent rationing of healthcare.

Ever heard of this crazy thing called "the free market?"

So one insurance company charges more than another. So people drop that insurance company and buy from the company that's selling it cheaper. Then the other company starts losing money, so what do they do? Well, they have to either drop their rates to compete or go out of business. Isn't that WEIRD?

Health insurance companies could charge $5,000 a month for insurance and Obamacare couldn't do anything about it. A lot of places only have one insurance option, maybe two. In order to drive down costs you need competition. The free market with competition is the only way prices will go down.

Free to deny benefits? Only if your state allows so. The current bill says people with pre-existing conditions will be covered unless your state opts out. One of the biggest problems with Obamacare is how everyone is subsidizing those with no job and/or who take $125,000 a year from the insurance companies so they have to jack up their premiums to cover the costs.

Well they drop their rates and incur more claims than what was anticipated and guess what, they go out of business the next year anyway. Your scenario doesn't make sense in health insurance industry. You have to be actuarial sound and the state mandates so much money in reserves.
