The new party must not just be a vote splitter but a return to freedom and fiscal sanity. Musk is not a politician nor should he aspire to be one. He will be the great patriot who started this.
But Thomas Massie has fought the swamp for years and knows DC. Barring Thomas Massie I would go with Rand Paul. This split has been long in the making. No one wants to be oppressed like the Chinese are, living afraid of their own shadows.
