If Karmelo Anthony is found guilty and sentenced, will there be "mostly peaceful" riots or not?

So 2 big white kids can walk up to a smaller black kid, the black kid tells them not to touch him, one grabs him, and the black kid doesn't have the right to defend himself.
Typical thug mentality. “Touch me and see what happens”. Kids I went to school with, both white and black, that meant I’ll push you back even harder. It didn’t mean I’ll pull out a knife and kill you. But of course you know that. Only a true racist would see skin color in this murder and approve of one of the kids getting killed. Karmelo belongs on prison.

He could have defended himself, but he chose to commit murder instead by plunging a knife into his heart.

A lot of money sent to the family, lots of ghetto talk. I hope it doesn't result in that, but it is summer. Those days or accepting the jury's decisions are long gone.
Just make sure you are prepared when traveling.

I don't think you know the facts of the case.

Did you say the sme thing for Rittenhouse or Daniel Penny?

Aren't you one of those free Derek Chauvin types?
Were there riots after Rittenhouse's killings were judged lawful?

of course he does. Why wouldn't he? That self defense however has to be legal, it has to be proportional. In other words, you can't kill a man, simply because they grab you to have you exit their tent. Moreover you don't have a right to self-defense if you are the primary aggressor.

Witness accounts undermine self-defense

Multiple student witnesses testified that Anthony was repeatedly asked to leave the Memorial High School tent and was the one provoking the confrontation. They recounted that Metcalf shoved Anthony once before being stabbed, and none believed Anthony’s actions were defensive. This aligns with prosecutors’ narrative of a ‘provoked and unjustified’ killing and directly challenges the defense’s portrayal of Anthony as cornered and threatened

Witnesses recount confrontation under the tent

The first witnesses were track and field teammates who were under the tent at Kuykendall Stadium on April 2, 2025. A 17‑year‑old student described the moments leading up to the stabbing.

"I remember people confronting Karmelo and saying, 'You shouldn't be here, you probably should leave our tent,'" the student testified. "I also said you should leave."

When asked by prosecutors whether the confrontation was aggressive, the student replied, "I don't think so," before adding, "I remember it getting more aggressive."

According to the testimony, Anthony refused repeated requests to leave.

"I remember Karmelo refusing to leave and Austin saying you need to leave and Karmelo saying 'touch me and find out,'" the student said.

Witnesses estimated Anthony was asked to leave as many as 15 times.

Prosecutors asked whether anyone tried to gang up on Anthony. "No, sir," the student said. The exchange lasted roughly two minutes, the witness testified.

"Karmelo started refusing to leave," the student said. When asked who was provoking the confrontation, the student responded, "Karmelo."

"Austin leans in to push him, and Karmelo stabs him," the witness said, adding that Anthony had his hands inside a backpack and students believed he was bluffing.

Not with deadly force when he provoked the confrontation in the first place which is what many witnesses testified. There was no testimony he was grabbed. He was shoved and not hard away to move him away because he was provoking. You can try and change the facts here but in the court where it matters.

I predict that the Black people will make fools of themselves, they've been really good at that lately.

"Lately"? When have they ever been reasonable in a situation such as this? This was an open and shut case, justice has been served, and there is absolutely ZERO reason for them to get angry in the streets, but I wouldn't be even slightly surprised if there's some violence tonight.

Maybe they'll surprise me, and we won't see another one of these:

He went to the wrong tent, refused to leave and then stabbed the guy. Play ghetto games, win ghetto prizes. It's a shame but you can't just go around killing people.

It would be nice if they released the video footage. From what i hear, it captured everything. It would settle the argument. They appear to want to let tensions fester, apparently, so they won’t release it

I do not believe there will be trouble. But I have been wrong. Frankly I thought this was a local story mostly.
