I posted on another political board prior to joining USMB. We had a few get togethers in NY and it was a hoot to meet some of the Progressives in real life.

Totally agree on being a fool for purposely going. Personally, I wish I had gotten that app, that would let me know where they were occurring, simply to insure I do not drive through the area they are operating in and avoid Federal government agents, period. They are not trust worthy, and potentially dangerous. Never trust anyone in a mask, especially if they are armed. You do not know if they are legit or simply thugs. Do not trust people supposedly officers of law enforcement, in tactical gear, simply marked as police. You might trust your own police department, or possibly not. In the pictures I have seen, they are in vest that say Police, even though they are clearly not. People that hide the organization they report to, do so for a reason. It lessens accountability. Avoid when possible.

I avoid because these things have the potential to turn violent, now moreso than ever given how the Dem mayor has turned up the heat as he attempts to protect illegals.

Same reason I didn’t go downtown on Inauguration Day, 2017. I knew how upset people were with the shenanigans the Dems pulled on Election Night, and that we were getting stuck with a demented man for president, but I steered clear.
