There is only one way to break a monopoly, and that is by introducing it to competition.

Enough talk.

The GOP needs to make Federal Education money dependent on states having robust school voucher programs.

Don't have a voucher program, you get NOTHING $$$$, not a cent!!!

The GOP won't have the margins in the Senate to get to 60 on that. Only way it will happen is if it is bootstrapped to some sort of student loan relief.

PART OF THE BUDGET... only 50 needed.

Those voucher schools then will have to accept even the most disruptive students and follow the state curriculum to get that money. They must accept all. Can't have it both ways.

Yes you can. You must still apply and be accepted.

But the taxpayer education money is appended to the student. Wherever the student goes, that where the taxdollars go.

The end of public education monopoly by any means necessary....

Once you get tax dollars you agree to educate all students and adhere to all state rules and regulations.

No, that's the monopoly talking.

Private schools require acceptance.

Their rules are their rules.

For example....

NO HOMOS WORK HERE. WE DO NOT TEACH GAY, TRANS BULLSHIT HERE. WE DO NOT HOMO RAPE YOUR KIDS.

Nope,a white male Christian. You want to punish all school and teachers. Paint them all with a broad brush. Our public schools here don't teach any of that stuff and judging by our last graduating class. 70 kids post secondary education. 16 in the workforce. Zero declared for anything else. 86 kids. That's why the taxpayers overwhelmingly passed a referendum to raise taxes for operating expenses last night.

Every public school doing a good job will suffer zero consequences. Why would anyone leave if it is doing a good job?

In the 1970s, there were many very good public schools teaching the basics and treating everyone the same and not homo raping the kids.

Today is very different, but it is possible some are still doing the job right...

Charter schools must accept all students that apply if a school voucher program is approved.

You condemn America's poor kids to homo rape and a whacko CRT/DEI/Alphabet Mafia "education" by forcing them into the homo controlled public education monopoly.

Vouchers are the only way to do that. The Teachers Unions are empowered and enriched by the public education monopoly. Give them competition and their behavior will change... or they will be fired and replaced.

So says you and the madrasa you rode in on .

(WASHINGTON, D.C., 6/21/22) – The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), the nation’s largest Muslim civil rights and advocacy organization, today welcomed a U.S. Supreme Court ruling that the state of Maine cannot exclude religious schools from a program that offers funding for private education.

In the 6-3 ruling, Chief Justice John Roberts wrote that the program violates the Constitution’s protections for religious freedoms, because it discriminates on the basis of religion. The ruling stated in part: “A State need not subsidize private education…ut once a State decides to do so, it cannot disqualify some private schools solely because they are religious.”

This, and there's no way around it.

Voucher folks want to keep the "exclusivity" of private schools but have the public fund it.

Once the public funds it, you have to accept kids with disabilities. And let me tell you about "behavioral disabilities" these days.....

Teachers unions blah blah. Let's make the competition fair. The voucher school takes on the same percentage of lower performing behaviorally disruptive kids. They must be accepted with tax dollars. Might be replacing the voucher school teachers or better yet they might wave the white flag and say they can't take it anymore.
