St Padre Pio was so incredible... did things no other priest has done (that I know of).

He knew people's sins as well as they did... knew when they were lying in the confessional (which they soemtimes did to try to prove he was fake)

He was blessed with discernment. This is a well-known gift of the Spirit, and here's a hint, you don't have to be a Catholic saint to be given that gift.

No one I have ever heard of, whether priest or layperson had such discernment that he or she could actually know things about strangers without even meeting them before.

That's because those actually given such a gift from the Spirit don't seek to advertise the fact and quietly use it for God's glory. This guy may have been very blessed (assuming his story has not been inflated along the way), but again, you don't have to be a Catholic saint to have Spiritual Gifts.

show me one non-Catholic who ever did what Pio did.

He was raised in a rosary-praying family. I wish I had been. I almost didn't make it to the narrow way Jesus speaks of because my family was worldly, only thought about Jesus on Sunday, and then (probably?) only reluctantly. However, my wonderful father made sure we went to Mass every Sunday without fail... so at least he saved me from

anti-Catholic-ness

Non-Catholics don't go to confession, so anyone showing off his gifting would be out of God's will. This is not a good thing. Tell you what, show us any other Catholic who did what Pio purportedly did. Do you maintain that only one man throughout history was given the gift of discernment for God's glory?

Non-Catholic =/= anti-Catholic. Not the same thing at all, unless you have a severe persecution complex. Non-Catholic =/= "only thinking about Jesus on Sunday, and then reluctantly".

Oh, you've walked in my shoes every minute of my life so you know how persecuted (or not) I am?

Oh brother.

And nice dodge: not saying when in history some Protestant minister did what Pio did.

And I told you why. Having a spiritual gift is not an invitation to advertise it. The bottom line remains that to be non-Catholic means nothing to Jesus.

Who says, you?

ha ha... You don't know the first thing about the Original Church

Otherwise, you'd be a member

Oh wait... maybe you wouldn't be.. What I meant is that when one LOVES JESUS (so few do, really)

THEN and only then would that person actually want to be a member of His Church

Those uninterested in the Original Church... too busy with more important things...

couldn't care less about Jesus's Church

Of course I do. I am a member of the Body of Christ, that is all that matters. Claiming superiority because of a name on the door means nothing in His light.
Otherwise, you'd be a member
I am a member of the only thing that matters, as already stated.

And they are, as declared by Jesus Himself. Nowhere does He ever indicate that the name on the door matters. What He DOES insist on is faith and relationship, from which come spiritual fruit. I will take His word for it over man's word.

And you are pretending that Christians are somehow less than if they are not members of your earthly organization, ignoring the true relationship that Jesus requires. There are no artificial boundaries in the Body of Christ because we all stand equal at the foot of the cross. You need to remember that.

Then you don't know many people. There are many Bible verses but here is one. 1Corinthians 12:10, "To another the working of miracles; to another prophecy; to another discerning of spirits..." I can tell you that my wife can discern you or anyone the moment she looks into your eyes. She's LDS. Please, all those who bow their knees and confess Jesus is the Christ can have one or more of the gifts of the spirit.
