It's very difficult to understand why anyone would voluntarily put themselves underneath the "authority" of a person who we have seen time and time again throw everyone who was at one time "favored" by him, thrown under the bus or stabbed in the back.

These are people who were "close" to Trump so why would anyone else who Trump doesn't even know, let alone cares about, think that they don't have to worry about some unforeseen (for them at least) event or consequence occurring if Trump were to again, God forbid, end up in the White House?

Think about the people who said under interrogation that the reason they came to the Capitol on January 6th was "at the invitation of my President" (paraphrased). AND those who thought that Trump would at least bail them out or help them in some way when they ended up arrested.

There were numerous times in the past when Trump told some of his follows to do something unlawful, such as getting physical with people at his rallies that he wanted thrown out, and that he would cover their legal fees.
