If a school district did this for Christian students instead of Muslims

the leftists would be having a fit. Why only Muslims and no other religion?
My school prepared Halal to go meals for field trips for our Muslim students. Nothing new here. I was in Kentucky of all places. You do realize that students would not eat lunch during Ramadan, right?

Another much to do about nothing. Probably been doing this for years in other schools.

You maybe right but with many on the left against anything remotely religious in public schools I still find this situation interesting to say the least.

The problem is that most people don't realize that various religions are accommodated regarding attendance on holy days, especially those in the Jewish faith.

If I remember Ramadan, you couldn't drink or eat until after sundown or something like that.

Nice to see schools being inclusive.

Back when I was a kid going to school in Texas, we always had fish on Friday. The most wonderful fish sticks with this awesome tartar sauce. Loved it. It wasn't until later when I was told there was a religious calculation being made by the school district. Nobody minded then...few likely mind now.

Once you realize democrats are traitors working with the WEF on a plot to intentionally collapse America, suddenly everything they support and do will make perfect sense, like prayer rooms for Muslims in schools.

Democrats = traitors

Then the school should not feed them. Do they also get special halal meals? Deport them all.

They are just getting the normal meals they would normally receive for lunch but can take them home to eat after sunset. I guess you have no concept of Ramadan.

Yes. Why would they not? We accommodated all religions when we could.

Most of my doctors are Muslim, including the ones who saved my life. They are Americans. Do you want to deport them also? I had some great students who were Muslim. Why do you automatically hate them?

Muslims are very nice people. Until they are not. Then they will cut your head off and claim religious freedom to do so.

Deport them all.

It's AMAZING that the demented LEFT are complete useful IDIOTS for both their Marxist masters AND their Islamic colonizers; both groups that would DISPATCH them once given total control.
Good grief. :cuckoo:

Islamophobia is a form of mental illness. Seek help. You should concentrate on the first part of your statement.
Islamophobia.
Meaning of the word Islam is submission by force if necessary.
Meaning of the word phobia is fear of.
Islamophobia means fear of forced submission.

Islamophobia, damn right. Just look at what they are doing around the world.

It was not the food getting my attention with this but the use of a school room for prayer, The ACLU and other groups and people have objected in the past for the use of school rooms for religious activity. Mind you I am not saying its wrong per se but Christians youth have been denied this before. Seems to something of a double standard here.

You might be surprised by my answer but the public schools have treated Christianity like this for....well, maybe since the beginning. For example: many Christian holidays are built into schools breaks, such as Christmas and Good Friday. And I remember back in the day having non-meat meals on Fridays to accommodate Catholics.

(To be clear: I do not think the strictest form of Islam is conducive to American values at all, and I have a lot to say about Islam as a religion, as a Christian. BUT that's not what this thread is about; it's about the treatment of religion in public schools....)

Agree with you about the holiday's. My scope in this with article I posted is narrow. Having a prayer room in a public school is what got my attention given past cases brought by the ACLU and others concerning something along these lines.

This is a really good point.

Students are never prohibited from private prayer in public schools, or even student-led prayer (say at a table at lunchtime). But dedicated prayer rooms might be a bridge too far! Interesting topic.....

I remember back in the day we had Halloween and Valentines Day. We don't now. Islam is a poison, not a religion we allow it's growth at our peril.

In the school district from which I retired recently, we had Halloween and Valentine's Day parties. In fact, the three school parties of the year were Halloween, Christmas and Valentine's
