According to schools Supt. Alberto Carvalho, the agents said they were there to check on the students’ well-being and lied when they told school officials that their families had given permission for the contact.

What's the problem? The kids aren't the target, their illegal alien parents are. Law enforcement often has problems when children are in the custody of criminals.

In my school district we were told the very same thing: they CAN come in and they might ask kids if they are being trafficked.

I guess Democrats/liberals don't care about trafficked kids (see how that works?)
