I'm sorry all, but I think there are better illegal aliens to make an example out of. While I don't fault ICE for doing their job here if that was the case, all I'm saying is I dont believe this girl is deserving of people's derision. If it's true she came here at 8 years old due to her parents decision then I'm not holding her responsible. If the crime of crossing the border happened at 8 years old for her then consider this. If an 8 year old is sitting in a car while her parents hold up a liquor store at gun point, does that 8 year old bear any responsibility for those actions? I dont think so. Anyways, the fact that she is self deporting really makes all this moot, but I think there are probably 5 - 10 million illegal aliens who I'd rather see deported because they voluntarily made that decision to come here knowing the consequences as an adult.

I am not sure how high the criminal element is in female honor roll nursing school students with scholarships to college who have been in the US since they were 8 but I suspect it is really really high. As a Charlotte resident I am feeling safe already.
