The AVERAGE salary of an IRS agent is $79,430 annually. Most would be taking a massive cut and pay and probably do better moving to the private sector, as most of them are Democrats and wouldn't want to be doing the work of MAGA.

I left my reading glasses in the car and misread what you wrote. Borrowed a pair from a coworker. But still the salaries of IRS agents are ridiculously misappropriated and way more than that of ICE. Right now the ICE is purging our country of a serious economic problem, and their job is far more hazardous than that of a desk monkey. And IRS agents are grossly over numbered. So in the end it's just business and rere is nothing wrong with cutting costs where they are misappropriated, and redirecting him two areas that have been long neglected.
