No, I have said the same thing since the Citizen’s United case. Dark money has too much influence in both parties. I guess from your comment you’re fine with this dark money. The system is in need of serious reform.

On a historical note you can trace this problem back to the so called Campaign Finance reform act of 1974 passed by Democratic congress vetoed by Ford and was over ridden by Congress. After than the Eugene McCarthy lawsuit decided by the USSC let people be able to spend their own money on campaigns . The Citizens United suit eventually stemmed from that. The 1974 law diluted the political parties and empowered PACS and their DC lobbyists and single issue organizations .
