Do NFL games have more/longer commercials than in the past? Genuine question.

It sure seems so to me. But then I've been watching football since way back when we used to watch Cleveland games on their own TV network. I recall the sadness I had at conclusion of the 1961 or 1962 season when the Browns announcer (either Ken Coleman or Warren Lahr) signed off saying it was their final goodbye as next year game broadcasts would be moving to CBS.
