I picked-up a couple more blades this morning

I went back to the pawn shop this morning and bought a couple more blades.

A Western W49 Bowie and an Argentine M1909 bayonet.

There was a guy there yesterday haggling over the Western but when I left they had not come to terms....When I showed-up today it was still there so I bought it. It came with box and paperwork.

LOL....The "haggler" showed up just before I left and you could tell he did not like that I got it.

The M1909 is very nice with a matching sheath.

I gave $150.00 for the pair.

Good score! The Western Bowies can bring up to $400 - $500 bucks, especially with the original box.

I saw one in the box like my example go for $350.00 last evening. I think that's the top-end for the year ('87).

The M1909 maybe $175.00 since it's so nice.
