I looked for a House in Heidelberg - and landed in Hanoi

she was a Buddhist, but I dont know about Theravada
Theravada is generally the tradition of southeast Asia, while Mahayana is the tradition of Northern India and Tibet. Mahayana continued to spread up through China, mixing with Taoism and Confucianism along the way, eventually culminating in the Zen tradition in Japan. Those who practice Theravada claim that theirs is the purist tradition, which holds to the original teachings of Siddhartha himself. Mayahana was more of an evolving philosophy which mixed with other religions and philosophies as moved through places and their indigenous cultures.

Being Vietnamese, she probably was Theravada.

and in Hanoi then we both visited the Catholic Cathedral Notre Dame in Hanoi
I have been there. I love Vietnam. Such a cool country. The people are so lovely and kind.

And where in Vietnam have you been?
Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh, and Hue.
I love it. Cheap, people are awesome.
Going back to Thailand in April for a month. Think the Mrs. and I will take that little flight over again.
