Gay people have always been persecuted and stupid religion is the reason. One of my maternal uncles had a gay pig. The bacon was just as good.

Anyone is free to believe what they want. But to say you don't recognize authority of government? Doesn't sound like 'rendering unto Caesar'. Every person is free to have any belief they like. Think what you want to think. And if you want to ignore the laws of the land in which you live by all means do so, but also then be ready to accept the consequences.
