Religious believers think the rapture is coming — and they’re asking if their dogs can come too

A South African pastor’s vision that Jesus will return on September 23, also known as the rapture, has sent social media into a frenzy, with many worried about what will happen to their fur babies if this happens.

“The rapture is upon us, whether you are ready or not,” pastor Joshua Mhlakela said in an interview with CettwinzTV.

Specifically, the pastor claims Jesus told him in his dream that he will come on September 23 and 24.

Heck, if you can't trust a SA pastor, who can you trust? Right?

Some would say it sorta highlights the problem with modern western Christians. They think they might be standing in the presence of the Lord in a few days and they are worried about their dog.

No one knows the day or the hour of Christ's return, not even the Son, but only the Father!

Don't let anyone fool people, in to otherwise....

We'll only know through Biblical ...distinct, in order, warning signs, when the time period, is near....but never the actual when...is how the Bible is written....

Good Twilight Zone episode

Another day of sunshine and flowers.
I`m heading to Pennsylvania`s north country to view the elks and they`re calling for rain tonight and tomorrow. We`re hoping that they`ll still let the elks out. I`ll share my umbrella.

I use to watch Shepherd's Chapel which was a brilliant father and son team and all they did was explain things from the Bible.

No Jesus, Jesus, Jesus send me $$$ stuff.

I heard the father say domestic animals are in Heaven and he gave a Bible quote to back it up. I can't wait to see all my dogs again and take them on long walks.

The Bible is a book written by men in an ancient time.
"Slaves, obey your masters with respect and fear and sincerity of heart, just as you would obey Jesus".
When I worked holidays, I got holiday pay. :)
Thank you Jesus.

Coon hunting and hunting in general with my pack and others I have had would be heaven for me.
2 bluetics gascon type, 1 black an tan, 1 american bull pit cross,1 black mouth cur, 1 mongrel and the smartest meat on the table dog in the world. Just add my father, mom and family ,just walking up the slope from the econ river and thick woods and smell my moms cooking and that is heaven.:)

This has happened so many times before. Almost every year, it seems, someone will make a confident prediction about the rapture, and get a lot of media attention.

Personally I think people like that are being led by the enemy because the bible clearly says "no one knows the day or hour".... so no one should be making specific predictions like that. When it doesn't happen it makes Christians and Christianity look bad and causes distrust, which of course is what the enemy wants. And on top of that, the pre-tribulation rapture doctrine is unbiblical, despite its popularity. The world still has A LOT to go through, before the second coming of Christ.

As for dogs being in Heaven....I absolutely believe animals will be in Heaven. There is plenty of scriptural support for that and a strong case that can be made.

Hunting? Hell no. Predation was never God's will in the first place, and is the exact opposite of Heaven. (Read Isaiah 11:6-9)

Officially, rapture happened in 312 AD ... When Constantine the Great usurped the church in Rome and founded the Great Harlot (aka the Catholic Church) ... using the Christian name to prostitute God's word across the world with force, violence and death ... your four horsemen have been named: politicians, lawyers, doctors and priests ... all Roman inventions ...

I kinda hate to have to point this out ... but dogs are unclean ... "And whatsoever goeth upon his paws, among all manner of beasts that go on all four, those are unclean unto you: whoso toucheth their carcase shall be unclean until the even." -- Leviticus 11:27 ...

If all dogs go to heaven ... what about snakes? ... small pox ... man-eating tigers? ... mosquitoes? ... COVID-19? ...
