Zone1 I hope there's Coon Hunting in Heaven

I kinda hate to have to point this out ... but dogs are unclean ... "And whatsoever goeth upon his paws, among all manner of beasts that go on all four, those are unclean unto you: whoso toucheth their carcase shall be unclean until the even." -- Leviticus 11:27 ...
:slap:

The actual dog does not go to heaven, just its spirit

Officially, rapture happened in 312 AD ... When Constantine the Great usurped the church in Rome and founded the Great Harlot (aka the Catholic Church) ... using the Christian name to prostitute God's word across the world with force, violence and death ... your four horsemen have been named: politicians, lawyers, doctors and priests ... all Roman inventions ...

I kinda hate to have to point this out ... but dogs are unclean ... "And whatsoever goeth upon his paws, among all manner of beasts that go on all four, those are unclean unto you: whoso toucheth their carcase shall be unclean until the even." -- Leviticus 11:27 ...

If all dogs go to heaven ... what about snakes? ... small pox ... man-eating tigers? ... mosquitoes? ... COVID-19? ...

There is no killing or eating carcasses in Heaven. So why would you post an Old Testament scripture about temporal dietary laws that has absolutely nothing to do with Heaven?

As for your last question, I'm going to post some prophetic scriptures for you that talk about how in God's Kingdom there will be peace and harmony... no disease, violence or death. Hopefully it will give you at least some idea of what Heaven is going to be like.

He will wipe away every tear from their eyes.
Death will no longer exist;
grief, crying, and pain will exist no longer,
because the previous things have passed away.
Revelation 21:4
The wolf will live with the lamb,
and the leopard will lie down with the goat.
The calf, the young lion, and the fatling will be together,
and a child will lead them.
The cow and the bear will graze,
their young ones will lie down together,
and the lion will eat straw like the ox.
An infant will play beside the cobra’s pit,
and a toddler will put his hand into a snake’s den.
None will harm or destroy another

Isaiah 11:6-9

because the creation itself also will be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God.
Romans 8:21

When the perishable puts on the imperishable, and the mortal puts on immortality, then shall come to pass the saying that is written:

O death, where is your sting?”

Good Twilight Zone episode

1758548738973-webp.1165022
Is that the episode where the guy was on a pathway and there were two paths, one to Heaven and one to Hell?

Or something like that.

It's been years since I watched it, but it was a good episode.

And I never even really liked that show.

Not sure any of that confirms your claim ... where is it written that animals go to heaven? ... and if they do, are there snakes and small pox? ...

I already pointed out "They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain: for the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the Lord, as the waters cover the sea." -- Is. 11:9 [emphasis mine] ... will you let it be on Earth as it is in Heaven? ...

Dogs certainly don't sin ... they didn't partake of the fruit of Good and Evil knowledge ...

He reaches the gates of Hell first and they welcome him but say his dog must stay outside.
He says he won’t go without his dog and keeps walking where he eventually reaches the gates of Heaven ……they take dogs

It uses the word "earth" because in the future, when Jesus returns, this current earth is going to be completely restored, back to how it was always meant to be from the start... a place of peace and harmony, no killing, death, disease, corruption, etc.

So at that point, when this current world no longer exists, Heaven and Earth will basically be one....and God will live among us. See the following scripture:

"And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, “Behold, the dwelling place of God is with man. He will dwell with them, and they will be his people, and God himself will be with them as their God."
Revelation 21:3

As for the animals, they have ALWAYS been part of God's plan for all creation, since the beginning. God created the animals and loves the animals, and He even included them in sacred covenants. (Genesis 9:15, Hosea 2:18, etc.)

So getting back to the Isaiah 11 passage that I posted earlier. That is obviously NOT speaking about this current world. It is speaking about how the world will be when Jesus returns. Some Christians believe that that Isaiah passage is about the millennium. (A thousand year reign of Christ on earth.) However, there are other very similar passages that are specifically speaking about the New Earth. Most scholars believe that Isaiah 65:25 is about the New Earth. (God's eternal Kingdom)

The wolf and the lamb will feed together,
and the lion will eat straw like the ox,
but the serpent’s food will be dust!
They will not do what is evil or destroy
on My entire holy mountain,”
says the Lord.
Isaiah 65:25

Revelation 19:11 describes Jesus riding on a white horse, at the second coming of Christ. And there are plenty of other scriptures in Revelation that speak about ALL creation praising God in Heaven.

This post is going to get long, but for anyone who is interested, I'm going to post an excerpt from Randy Alcorn on this topic about animals being in Heaven... This excerpt is specifically about the Revelation scriptures about all 'living beings' praising God in Heaven:

The most striking example of animals praising God in Heaven is often overlooked because of word selection in our Bible translations. We’re told eight times in Revelation of “living creatures” in the intermediate Heaven: “Day and night they never stop saying:
‘Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God Almighty, who was, and is, and is to come.’
. . . The living creatures give glory, honor and thanks to him who sits on the throne” (Revelation 4:8-9).
The word translated “living creatures” is zoon. Throughout most of the New Testament the word is translated “animal” and is used to indicate animals sacrificed in the Temple and wild, irrational animals (Hebrews 13:11; 2 Peter 2:12; Jude 1:10). In the Old Testament, the Septuagint used zoon to translate the Hebrew words for animals, including the “living creatures” of the sea (Genesis 1:21; Ezekiel 47:9). In extrabiblical writings, zoon commonly referred to ordinary animals and was used of the Egyptians’ divine animals and the mythological bird called the Phoenix (1 Clement 25:2-3). In virtually every case inside and outside of Scripture, this word means not a person, not an angel, but an animal.
The King James Version translates zoon “beasts” in Revelation, but the negative connotations of that word led subsequent translators to settle on “living creatures.” The most natural translation would be simply “animals.”

Dogs certainly don't sin ... they didn't partake of the fruit of Good and Evil knowledge ...

Who claimed they sin? I never made that claim. Animals don't sin, and they certainly were not the ones who brought sin into the world in the first place, that was human beings. And that is all the more reason why it makes perfect sense that they will be in Heaven, without having to "get saved." Like babies or young children who die and go to Heaven (there is scriptural support for that) animals are similar in the sense that they are innocent and don't have the capacity to understand ideas like salvation.

This has happened so many times before. Almost every year, it seems, someone will make a confident prediction about the rapture, and get a lot of media attention.

Personally I think people like that are being led by the enemy because the bible clearly says "no one knows the day or hour".... so no one should be making specific predictions like that. When it doesn't happen it makes Christians and Christianity look bad and causes distrust, which of course is what the enemy wants. And on top of that, the pre-tribulation rapture doctrine is unbiblical, despite its popularity. The world still has A LOT to go through, before the second coming of Christ.

As for dogs being in Heaven....I absolutely believe animals will be in Heaven. There is plenty of scriptural support for that and a strong case that can be made.

Hunting? Hell no. Predation was never God's will in the first place, and is the exact opposite of Heaven. (Read Isaiah 11:6-9)
I agree!

Who claimed they sin? I never made that claim. Animals don't sin, and they certainly were not the ones who brought sin into the world in the first place

You never had a dog poop on your new carpet

No Jesus, Jesus, Jesus send me $$$ stuff
That is guaranteed by God himself. Tithe 10% of your income, <right off the top, to a church and if you add 25% of your tithe, to your tithe, God will increase it 7-fold. He said, if you don't believe it, test me on it.

You might be disappoint when you find out that the coons also are immortal and will not die. You will be reduced to chasing them and trying to catch them by hand for pets.

Will Animals Resurrect?

According to teachings from The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, animals will be resurrected and will have immortal bodies in the same likeness as their mortal bodies. This belief is supported by revelations in the Doctrine and Covenants, particularly section 77, which indicates that animals had a premortal spirit existence and were created in the likeness of their spirit. The resurrection of animals is seen as part of the universal scope of Christ's atonement, which extends to all living things, including beasts, fowls, and fishes.

Church leaders have consistently taught that animals are living souls and will be resurrected. President Joseph Fielding Smith stated that animals, fish, and birds will be renewed through the resurrection because they too are living souls. He also taught that animals have spirits and will come forth in the resurrection to enjoy immortal life. The Prophet Joseph Smith taught that anyone who claims animals cannot be saved is rejecting the revelations, citing a vision where John heard beasts giving glory to God. Apostle Bruce R. McConkie affirmed that the resurrection applies universally, including to animals, birds, fish, and all forms of life, which occupy an eternal role in the plan of salvation.

While the scriptures confirm that animals will be resurrected and will be in heaven, details about their specific placement in the degrees of glory (celestial, terrestrial, or telestial) are not clearly defined. Some teachings suggest that animals may be in the celestial kingdom, but this is not explicitly confirmed. The nature of their existence in the afterlife, including whether they will be with their former owners or have their own eternal spheres, remains a matter of speculation and faith. The idea that animals will be resurrected and enjoy eternal life is considered a doctrine of the Church, supported by both scripture and the teachings of modern prophets.
