I Have Never Seen a Memorial of this Magnitude

Granted, technology and arrangement, orchestration and production have greatly changed since the last significant political leader was murdered, but I have no recollection of anything like Charlie Kirk Memorial.

This was a JFK/MLK level assassination. The Left will regret their incitement of violence for years to come.

I hope Charlie's message stays fast
Not to argue or to belittle Charlie Kirk's memorial but I was never a direct follower of any of his videos or anything.

I know he was anti-abortion and pro-life but I wouldn't call that a "message." More a position.

So, I'm curious what his "message" is.

I suppose i could try to google it.

Edit: Wow, such a horrifying Mission.

I think Charlie's biggest impact was on college kids, Chuz. He went to college campuses, set up a table and ASKED for people to come and debate him on issues. He challenged what was being taught at those colleges, not in a confrontational way but by refuting with facts what was being pushed by the left. The gains that Trump made among young people in this last election compared to 2020 can be traced to what Charlie Kirk was doing. He was literally THAT influential!

That pretty much describes all I was familiar with, about him.

That and some "turning point" town hall looking segments that would pop up in my news feed sometimes.

He was doing pretty much what we all do here at USMB. But he was murdered for doing so. And some mother fuckers try to justify it, celebrate it, etc.

That's the part that gets to me the most.

YouTube is filled with Charlie Kirk and his message

You should take the time to find out more about him

Because he died in Utah, but he’s not going away

The left viewed Charlie Kirk as a "danger" and with good reason! He was making young people feel like they could BE conservatives on a college campus despite what professors were preaching! They needed to kill him because he was turning the young against progressives with simple common sense.

I think some 200,000 attended Reagan's public memorial service which was remarkable and a tribute to one of America's most beloved Presidents. But I'm pretty sure the totals, inside and outside State Farm Stadium will exceed that. Certainly there has never been a funeral service like Charlie's for a private citizen. It was more like a great revival meeting and he would have loved to think it would be that. A fitting send off for the absolutely remarkable life someone so young had lived, his incredible and effective ministry, his unlifting and inspirational message.

His mission began more political than spiritual, but as time went on, the spiritual crisis in America was understood to be the root of America's problem.
